Indaba Music is a community of musicians who are collaborating, finding opportunities, and participating in contests. Josh was one of the first employees at Indaba, and helped build the community to over 1.3 million musicians. As VP of Content, Josh helped produce brand campaigns with Red Bull, Converse, Microsoft, and Kenneth Cole, and built Indaba's music licensing program in 2012, Indaba Sync, designed to find sync placements in film/TV/web videos for emerging musicians. Today, Josh works with Indaba focusing on content strategy, video strategy and production, and artist relations. 

The Converse Sample Library is a partnership between Converse Rubber Tracks and Indaba Music, designed to provide the world's largest, highest quality, completely free library of musical ideas and samples. 

Respected artists such as Machinedrum, Mount Kimbie, Com Truise, and members of The Roots have contributed to the Converse Sample Library, and hit songs such as Mura Masa's "Love Sick" have utilized samples from the library. 

As head of content for the Converse Sample Library, Josh worked directly with artists, studios, and engineers to record and edit all of the audio material - and coordinated with the product team to help build the online platform. In addition, Josh produced all the of the video content for the sample library. 

Suite 268 is a music video channel presented by Indaba Music, featuring stripped down acoustic musical performances, with 10 million + streams on various streaming outlets, including YouTube and Sony Bravia network.  Josh produces, directs, shoots, and edits Suite 268 videos out of his loft on The Bowery in NYC.

Jazz Power Initiative is a non-profit founded by jazz musician/educator Eli Yamin and teacher/writer Clifford Carlson to get youth involved in and excited about jazz.  As part of the Jazz Power Initiative, Josh directs, shoots, and edits videos to showcase the impact and power of the program. 

Project Rhythm is a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching youth important life skills through music. As a video consultant, Josh helps produce and direct marketing videos, as well as instructional videos. Below is an example of an instructional video produced for Project Rhythm. 

Beyond The Shoreline is creating a new wave of plant-based cuisine made from locally harvested ocean seagreens. Josh worked with BTS to produce, shoot, edit and compose the score for an explainer fundraiser video. 


Crafted Singles features one cooking craft/skill paired with a song to create a no-dialogue, inspirational approach to food appreciation and education. 

Kala's Kimchi Class is an interactive food experience led by Chef Kala Sung in New York City. As a content producer, Josh shoots and edits videos to capture the unique experience, providing music supervision and scoring as well. 

OpenFan is an exciting new marketing platform designed to give business owners new data-insights into their customers.
